Bonus Kemenangan The Fault In Our Stars di MTV Movie Award

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Film yang menguras emosi penonton, The Fault in Our Stars , akhirnya juga menguras perolehan piala popcorn MTV Movie Awards yang digelar di Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, Los Angeles, pada Minggu malam (12/4) waktu setempat.

Setelah berhasil meraih piala popcorn kategori Best Kiss, dan Shailene Woodley meraih Best Female Performance serta Trailblazer Award, film The Fault in Our Stars juga memenangkan kategori unggulan: Movie of the Year.

John Green, sang penulis novel yang diadaptasi ke dalam film ini, naik ke atas panggung bersama Shailene Woodley, Nat Wolff, sineas Josh Boone dan lain-lain. Sementara sang aktor pemeran utama, Ansel Elgort, tak hadir. Namun ia memberikan "bonus" berupa cuitan via Twitter:

“I had nothing to do with the making of this movie, but I was the first at the microphone,” kata John Green. “These people are such a gift to my life.” Nat Wolff segera menimpali, “We’re all so luck to be a part of John’s amazing vision, he’s a genius and he’s so attractive.”

Tak lupa John menyebutkan sosok yang menginspirasinya, “I want to say thank you to my Esther Earl. Esther taught me that a short life can also be a good life.” John menutup pidato sembari mengucap terima kasih kepada Ester serta pendukung novel dan filmnya.
