Musisi Muda Kuasai Nominasi Grammy Awards 2016

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Daftar nominasi Grammy Awards telah dirilis, dan didominasi musisi muda. Bisa dibayangkan acara penganugerahannya pada awal tahun depan bakal meriah dan menyegarkan!

Dilansir dari NME, pada Senin (7/12), salah satu musisi muda yang menguasai jagat nominasi Grammy Awards 2016 ialah Kendrick Lamar, tandem Taylor Swift di lagi Bad Blood.

Penyanyi rap dan album musiknya yang berjudul To Pimp A Butterfly itu berhasil masuk 11 nominasi bergengsi, di antaranya Album of The Year dan Song of The Year.

Nominasi lain yang diraih Lamar ialah Best Rap Album, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Dance Recording, Best Rap Song dan Best Music Video.

Tidak hanya Lamar yang menguasai jagat nominasi Grammy Awards 2016. Rekannya sesama musisi muda juga berhasil masuk ke dalam nominasi bergengsi, seperti Taylor Swift dan The Weeknd.

Baik Swift maupun The Weekend sama-sama berhasil mendapatkan tujuh nominasi, salah satunya ialah Album of The Year.

Drake juga berhasil masuk nominasi Best Rap Album. Sementara seniornya, Pharrell Williams dan Kanye West juga menguasai empat nominasi lain.

Tidak hanya musisi rap dan pop saja yang menguasai nominasi. Alabama Shakes juga masuk empat nominasi; Album of The Year, Alternative Music Album, Rock Performance dan Best Rock Song.

Perhelatan Grammy Awards ke-58 akan digelar pada 15 Februari 2016 di Staples Center, Los Angeles.
