Karya Kendrick Lamar Digemari Presiden Barack Obama

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Kendrick Lamar patut berbangga hati. Setelah mendapat nominasi terbanyak Grammy Awards 2016, kini menjadi musisi favorit Presiden Amerika Serikat Barack Obama.

Dilansir dari NME, pada Rabu (9/12), Obama menyatakan lagu Lamar yang berjudul How Much A Dollar Cost adalah kesukaannya. Lagu tersebut masuk dalam album Lamar yang berjudul To Pimp A Butterfly.

Jika Obama menyukai lagu milik Lamar, maka sang istri, Michelle Obama, menyukai lagu dari Mark Ronson yang berjudul Uptown Funk.

Soal film, Obama menyukai The Martian, sementara Michelle menyukai Inside Out.

Obama dan Michelle memang tidak pernah segan memuji karya pelaku dunia hiburan yang digemarinya.

Belum lama ini, Obama dan Michelle bahkan merilis daftar lagu kesukaannya melalui layanan musik digital, Spotify.

Album To Pimp A Butterfly berhasil masuk 11 nominasi bergengsi, di antaranya Album of The Year dan Song of The Year.

Nominasi lain yang diraih Lamar ialah Best Rap Album, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Dance Recording, Best Rap Song dan Best Music Video.

Tidak hanya Lamar yang menguasai jagat nominasi Grammy Awards 2016. Rekannya sesama musisi muda juga berhasil masuk ke dalam nominasi bergengsi, seperti Taylor Swift dan The Weeknd.
