Adele dan Beyonce Bersaing Ketat di Grammy 2017

Keduanya masuk nominasi di kategori bergengsi Album Terbaik, Rekaman Terbaik, dan Lagu Terbaik di penghargaan Grammy 2017.

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Daftar nominasi peraih penghargaan Grammy 2017 telah diumumkan dengan Adele dan Beyonce memimpin di sejumlah kategori utama dan bersaing dengan ketat. 

Adele lewat albumnya 25 meraih lima nominasi, antara lain Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year. Sementara Beyonce masuk dalam sembilan kategori, di antaranya Album of the Year untuk Lemonade, Song of the Year dan Record of the Year untuk lagu Formation. Video musik lagu tersebut juga termasuk dalam kategori Best Music Video.

Malam penghargaan Grammy 2017 dengan pembawa acara James Corden dijadwalkan berlangsung pada 12 Februari mendatang.

Mengutip NME, kategori Album of the Year juga diikuti oleh Justin Bieber, Drake dan musisi country Sturgill Simpson.

Keduanya juga mesti bersaing di kategori Song of the Year dengan Justin Bieber (Love Yourself), Lukas Graham (7 Years) dan Mike Posner (I Took A Pill In Ibiza).

Sementara di kategori Record of the Year, Adele dan Beyonce bersaing dengan Lukas Graham (7 Years), Rihanna/Drake (Work) dan Twenty one Pilots (Stressed Out).

Kanye West dan David Bowie yang sebelumnya sempat digadang-gadang dan dijagokan untuk Album of the Year tidak masuk dalam nominasi penghargaan.
