La La Land Raih Film Terbaik London Critics' Awards

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Film musikal La La Land tak tertandingi di musim penghargaan tahun ini. Usai meraih tujuh penghargaan di Golden Globe Awards lalu, film yang dibintangi Emma Stone dan Ryan Gosling itu juga berada di urutan teratas raihan penghargaan London Critics' Circle Film Awards 2017.  

Film La La Land meraih penghargaan bergengsi sebagai Film of the Year.

Selain film musikal yang disutradarai Damien Chazelle itu, London Film Critics' Circle membagi rata penghargaan untuk sejumlah film lainnya, termasuk Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea dan Love & Relationship pada malam penghargaan yang berlangsung di May Fair Hotel di London, Minggu (22/1).

Mengutip Variety, para kritikus asal Inggris juga menilai Casey Affleck pantas menjadi aktor tahun ini lewat aktingnya yang mengesankan di Manchester by the Sea. Sementara, Isabelle Huppert juga patut diberikan penghargaan di kategori Aktris Terbaik, bukan lewat Elle, tapi filmnya yang lain Things to Come.

Film Moonlight membawa pulang penghargaan untuk Naomie Harris sebagai Aktris pendukung terbaik, dan Mahershala Ali di kategori aktor pendukung terbaik.

Selain Affleck, Manchester by the Sea juga mendapat penghargaan untuk penulis skenarionya Kenneth Lonergan.
