Daftar Lengkap Nominasi Emmy Awards 2020

Dua bulan menjelang acara puncak, penyelenggara Emmy Awards 2020 mengumumkan daftar nominasi untuk ajang penghargaan pertelevisian paling bergengsi di Amerika Serikat tersebut.

Dalam ajang tahun ini, serial pahlawan super garapan HBO, Watchmen, memimpin perolehan nominasi dengan 26 kategori, termasuk Outstanding Limited Series, Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, dan Lead actress in a Limited Series or Movie.

Serial drama komedi dari Amazon Prime Video, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, menempati urutan kedua dengan perolehan 20 nominasi, disusul Ozark dan Succession yang masing-masing meraih 18 nominasi.

Sementara itu, Netflix masih menjadi penyedia layanan streaming dan rumah produksi yang menguasai sebagian besar nominasi dengan total 160. Ini menjadi kali kedua Netflix mengalahkan rival beratnya, HBO, yang pada 2020 hanya mendapatkan 107 nominasi.

Penyelenggara akan mengumumkan pemenang Emmy Awards 2020 pada 20 September mendatang dalam acara malam penghargaan yang dipandu oleh Jimmy Kimmel dan disiarkan di ABC.
