The Weeknd menjadi musisi dengan nominasi terbanyak ajang penghargaan Billboard Music Awards 2021. Ia bersaing di sejumlah nominasi bergengsi.
Dari total 16 nominasi, penyanyi asal Kanada tersebut bersaing di kategori bergengsi seperti Top Male Artist dan Top Hot 100 artist. Di kategori Top Male Artist, The Weeknd harus bersaing dengan Drake, Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, dan Pop Smoke.
Sementara itu, nama nama besar seperti Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, dan Ariana Grande akan bersaing sebagai nomine di kategori Top Female Artist. Ajang penghargaan akan dihelat 23 Mei 2021.
