Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- BAFTA telah mengumumkan daftar lengkap nominasi ajang penghargaan tahun ini. Dari semua kategori, Oppenheimer mendominasi dengan 13 nominasi.
Film yang diadaptasi dari buku berjudul American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer itu masuk beberapa nominasi utama, seperti Best Film, Best Director untuk Christopher Nolan, hingga Best Leading Actor, Supporting Actress, hinga Supporting Actor.
Selain itu, film Oppenheimer juga dinominasikan untuk Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, dan sejumlah nominasi teknis lain.

Poor Things mengekor raihan Oppenheimer sebagai runner-up dengan mendapatkan 11 nominasi. Film yang disutradarai Yorgos Lanthimos itu masuk nominasi Best Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, hingga Best Leading Actress untuk Emma Stone.
Sementara, film Killers of the Flower Moon karya sutradara Martin Scorsese mendapatkan 9 nominasi dalam BAFTA 2024. Film tersebut juga dinominasikan untuk Best Film dan Best Supporting Actor untuk Robert De Niro.
Jumlah yang sama juga didapatkan oleh The Zone of Interest. Film dari studio A24 itu masuk nominasi Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, hingga Best Adapted Screenplay.
British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) merupakan acara penghargaan yang menyoroti kontribusi Inggris dan internasional terbaik setiap tahun.
Tahun ini acara tersebut akan kembali digelar dan dipandu aktor David Tennant di Royal Festival Hall, London. BAFTA 2024 akan berlangsung 18 Februari sekitar pukul 02.00 WIB.
