Daftar Lengkap Pemenang MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards 2018

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- Ajang penghargaan musik MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards (MGA) rampung digelar di kemarin malam, Selasa (6/11) waktu Korea Selatan.

Acara yang baru pertama kali digelar itu dimeriahkan oleh penampilan penyanyi solo Amerika Serikat Charlie Puth. Pelantun 'We Don't Talk Anymore' itu juga berkolaborasi dengan BTS di panggung Namdong Gymnasium, Incheon membawakan lagu 'Fake Love'.

Dikutip dari Sompii, malam itu pula, boyband BTS meraja dengan memboyong lima penghargaan sekaligus, antara lain Best Artist of the Year, Best Digital Album of the Year, Best Male Dance Performance, Genie Music Popularity Award, dan Best Male Group.

Bagai keruntuhan durian, boyband beranggotakan tujuh orang tersebut juga memperoleh dua hadiah utama di malam itu.

Agensi yang menaungi BTS, Big Hit Entertainmentpun ikut terciprat kejayaan BTS di MGA dengan memperoleh Producer of The Year. Tak ketinggalan, koreografer BTS Son Sung Deuk didapuk menjadi Best Choreography untuk lagu hits boyband itu dalam 'Idol'.

Menyusul popularitas BTS, boyband Wanna One menambah koleksi penghargaannya dengan tiga piala baru dari kategori Best Male Vocal, Performance untuk 'Beautiful', MBC Plus Star Award, dan hadiah utama Song of The Year.

Dari sisi kelompok wanita, girlband TWICE membawa pulang piala paling banyak dari tiga kategori nominasi, Best Female Group, Best Global Performance, dan hadiah utama Best-Selling Artist of The Year.
